Frima is honored to have had the fantastic opportunity to work alongside Square Enix Co., Ltd. to bring TRIANGLE STRATEGY to life in a whole new way with a new VR version of the game for Meta Quest.
Our team’s primary role was to port and adapt Nintendo Switch and PC titles to Meta Quest with support from Square Enix, Inc. The main challenge was to tailor the gameplay for a VR environment, providing players with a fresh way to experience the storylines. Building on the development specifications designed by Square Enix, Inc., we worked with the game’s initial engine and VR components to create a seamless user experience.
The project’s objective was twofold: to expand the title to new audiences by launching it on a new platform, and to engage existing TRIANGLE STRATEGY players. To achieve the latter, Frima went beyond adapting the game and worked closely with Square Enix, Inc. to create new components and features unique to the VR version to offer existing fans a new experience.
